CEPH Accreditation

The UW–Madison Master of Public Health (MPH) program has been accredited by the Council for Education in Public Health (CEPH), since 2009. The  most recent accreditation site visit to MPH occurred in October 2021.

The Master of Public Health program has been re-accredited by CEPH through July 1, 2029. CEPH is the national agency charged with assuring quality in public health education and training to achieve excellence in practice, research, and service in public health. The accreditation process involves rigorous independent assessment of curricular effectiveness of the MPH degree program and nine different dual degree offerings, diversity and cultural competence, School of Medicine and Public Health and institutional commitment, community engagement, and workforce development.
