Established in 1991, MEDiC is a student-led organization that runs six free health clinics throughout the Madison area. MEDiC aims to improve the health of the underserved in the Madison area while also enhancing the education of University of Wisconsin-Madison health professions students.

MEDiC milestones

In 2016, MEDiC celebrated 25 years of providing health care for underserved patients in Madison. In 2011, MEDiC was honored by President Obama with the President’ s Volunteer Service Award.
Improving access to health care for Madison area's most underserved populations is a goal that cannot be achieved alone.
