Ashley Kuhl, MS, CGC

Ashley Kuhl, MS, CGC, is the assistant program director for the Master of Genetic Counselor Studies program. In this role she supports and supervises clinical training, teaches counseling courses and provides research mentorship for genetic counseling students. She also provides teaching support to the UW School of Medicine and Public Health MD program and the Wisconsin MCH LEND program.
As a certified genetic counselor, Kuhl provides support, care coordination and genetic counseling for individuals and families with, or suspected of having, inherited conditions in the UW Biochemical and Medical Genetics Clinics at the Waisman Center. She especially enjoys her work with Plain (Amish and Old Order Mennonite) families and the newborn screening program in Wisconsin.
Kuhl received her BS in genetics from UW–Madison in 2011 and her MS in medical genetics from UW–Madison in 2013.
