Megan Malone is a learning specialist with the Master of Public Health program at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. She connects students with resources on campus and in the community, shares study strategies and learning tools, and provides general support to students as they progress through graduate school. She is solution-focused, person-centered and holistic in her approach to each student and their journey.
Malone is the president of the board of directors of Chrysalis, Inc. of Dane County, a local nonprofit that encourages mental health and substance recovery through supportive work opportunities, healing and wellness. She is also a behavioral health specialist in the adult psychiatry unit at UnityPoint Meriter Hospital.
Malone graduated from UW’s Sandra Rosenbaum School of Social Work, and has training in education, conflict resolution, and mediation from the University of Washington and the University of Oregon. She has worked with Division I athletes and in international development in Africa and the Caribbean.
