Michelle Ostmoe currently serves as the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Specialist for the PA program and has been an integral part of the School of Medicine and Public Health since 2002. She played a pivotal role in the initial development of the distance education options and her efforts were instrumental in expanding the PA program to include campuses in both Wausau and Platteville.
In her current position, Ostmoe provides support to the program in various areas. She plays a key role in accreditation, ensuring that the program meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. She also leads many assessment initiatives, helping to evaluate and enhance the program’s educational outcomes. Ostmoe is involved in educational technologies, leveraging innovative tools and techniques to enhance the learning experience for students and faculty alike.
Ostmoe earned her bachelor of science degree in business from UW-Stout in 2001 and in 2018 she was honored by the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) as the Administrative Staff of the Year.
