The UW Medical Scientist Training Program sponsors a spring symposium featuring an external keynote speaker, oral presentations of student research, student poster presentations, and a student-faculty roundtable.

MSTP Retreat
Every year, all students in the Medical Scientist Training Program participate in a retreat during the fall semester. During the retreat, students participate in social events and discussions related to program matters.
The retreat this year was held on September 9-10, 2011 at the George Williams College of Aurora University on Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
