Across the state, the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is making an impact on our students, communities, health care and workforce. Not only are we training the state’s future health care professionals, we are also researching cures for diseases like cancer and Alzheimer’s, studying sleep disorders, healthy aging, and maternal health, and exploring technology to transform medicine. We partner with health care and public health professionals and policy makers across the state and within Wisconsin’s 11 tribal communities to improve care for all. The Wisconsin Idea Database highlights some of the many ways our faculty, staff and students are making a difference in Wisconsin.
