Jacob Bidwell, MD, is the associate dean for the Advocate Aurora Health/Eastern Academic Campus of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He is responsible for the overall regional oversight and success of the affiliated teaching site, providing supervision of education leaders and ensuring that appropriate operational and infrastructure support is provided to support high quality educational and student experiences. The Advocate Aurora Health/Eastern Academic Campus is a partner in the Training in Urban Medicine and Public Health (TRIUMPH) program, as well as a partner in the Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine (WARM) program.

Bidwell is board certified in family medicine and is the program director for the Aurora Family Medicine Residency Program.

He earned his medical degree from the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.
