Joseph Blumer joined the UW Medical Scientist Training Program in the spring of 2026. He holds a PhD in endocrinology and reproductive physiology and a bachelor of science degree in biology and Spanish, both from UW–Madison.
Before joining the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, Joseph was a postdoctoral scientist at Oregon Health & Science University and subsequently a research specialist in UW’s Department of Medicine.
