Taylor Hartmann
Learning Specialist

Taylor Hartmann is a learning specialist with the Master of Genetic Counselor Studies program. She helps students with executive functioning skills and resources to navigate graduate school. Her student-centered approach helps ensure that students have the support, skills, and tools to be successful.

Hartmann also works with MD students, using a similar approach. She runs the small group tutoring program and is a co-host for the preorientation event for incoming medical students, known as Med*STAR.

Hartmann graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2022 with a master of science in higher education. At UW–Madison, she has worked with Division I athletes, helping them to navigate their workload and managing the Athletics Tutor and Mentor program. That role allowed her to transfer and use her skills in her work with MD and genetic counseling students, who take on many responsibilities during their time in school.
