The Department of Population Health Sciences seminar on Monday, Feb. 7, featured Dr. Paul Kelleher, whose presentation was titled "What is Health Equity?"
Kelleher is an assistant professor of medical history and bioethics. His research and teaching interests include:
- Public health ethics
- The foundations of societal obligations to protect and promote population health
- Ethical issues in health care priority setting and resource allocation
- The proper response to moral disagreement in bioethics, health care policy, and the regulation of the medical professions
The seminar was co-sponsored by the UW Population Health Institute.
