Partnership Invites 30 Full Proposals Through Community-Academic Partnership Fund

The Wisconsin Partnership Program (WPP) received a strong response to its 2011 Request for Partnerships (RfP) through the Community-Academic Partnership Fund. This year, applicants filed 94 notices of intent and letters of interest by the June 10, 2010 deadline.

Following a technical and content review, the Oversight and Advisory Committee (OAC) invited 30 proposals - 10 implementation grants and 20 development grants - to submit full applications.

The Community-Academic Partnership Fund supports collaborations that blend the skills and knowledge of nonprofits or local or state government with the expertise of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health to address key health issues facing the state.

The 30 invited proposals best adhered to the Wisconsin Partnership Program's priorities as laid out in the Request for Partnerships, which was released in April. In addition, these projects incorporated the strongest evidence base, solid evaluation plans, and attention to sustainability and dissemination issues.

Below is an alphabetical list of the proposals that were invited to proceed, along with the applicant agency. The Oversight and Advisory Committee of the Wisconsin Partnership Program expects to make award decisions in December.
