The University of Wisconsin-Madison's Institute for Clinical and Translational Research will hold its annual Short Course in Clinical Research on June 9, 2010.
The Short Course, which takes place from 7:30am to 5pm in room 1335 of the Health Sciences Learning Center, will feature hands-on, interactive sessions. The curriculum covers the following:
- Study Design for Translational Research
- Responsible Conduct of Research
- Building Research Relationships
- Scientific Writing and Publishing
- Poster and PowerPoint Presentations
This workshop targets medical students, graduate students and others in the health professions who conduct (or plan to conduct) clinical research.
An advanced short course for fellows and junior investigators will be held in the fall (date TBA).
