UWCCC Announces Awards for 16 Investigator Initiated Trials

It is the goal of the UWCCC to foster the development of investigator driven clinical research trials which define and develop novel agents and whose designs focus on a translational theme.

Thirty five proposals were submitted with a total of 16 applications awarded from the spring and fall solicitations. The UWCCC will again send out solicitations in April and October 2011, which will focus on population health and clinical translational research.
