Daniel Jurczyk, MD, is the interim associate dean for the Marshfield Clinic/Northern Academic Campus. He is responsible for the overall regional oversight and success of the academic programs of the school’s Northern Academic Campus, which includes Marshfield Clinic. In this role, Jurczyk provides supervision of educational leadership and ensures that appropriate operational and infrastructure support is provided to support high quality educational and student experiences. In 2009, Marshfield Clinic became the first host site for medical students in the Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine (WARM) and continues to serve as a teaching site.
Jurczyk also serves as the Medical Director of Education and Designated Institutional Officer for Marshfield Clinic. He practices general outpatient psychiatry at Marshfield Clinic and leads educational activities in the psychiatry department.
Jurczyk earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in 2018. He is a graduate of the WARM program, completing two years of rural training at Marshfield Clinic. He completed residency in psychiatry at UW Hospitals and Clinics.
Among other honors, Jurczyk was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha during medical school and at Marshfield Clinic has been awarded Preceptor of the Year by UW-La Crosse physician assistant students and the Wisconsin Medical Alumni Association Medical Alumni Teaching Award.
