The Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC) offers a variety of reservation and support services to faculty, staff and students.

Room Reservations

The online room reservation system (EMS) is available for faculty, staff, students and UW Health employees to submit reservation requests for rooms in the Health Sciences Learning Center, Clinical Sciences Center (CSC), Medical Foundation Centennial Building (MFCB), and Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WIMR).

Classroom and AV Services

Classroom and AV Services (CAVS) provides consultation and support to meeting coordinators throughout the School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) campus including the HSLC, WIMR, MFCB and some rooms in CSC and WARF. Support includes assistance with video conferencing platforms and audio-visual equipment.

Recording Events or Lectures

The SMPH Video Library records events and lectures in the HSLC on a fee-for-service basis. Live streaming of events is available.

Informatics and IT

The School of Medicine and Public Health Information Technology team supports students, faculty and staff on general and advanced applications, shared services, network and cybersecurity, applications and tools, data and analytics, application development, research computing and more.

InfoCommons and Equipment Checkout

InfoCommons is spread across both floors of the Ebling Library along the atrium window. It provides an integrated environment for library and information technology staff, services and resources. The InfoCommons is open to enrolled students, faculty and staff at UW-Madison. Resources and services include laptop and equipment checkout, access to Mac workstations, printing and copying.
