These contacts can verify completion of Graduate Medical Education (GME) residency, fellowship or MD education:

ACGME-Accredited Residency/Fellowship Completion of Training/Competency – For training completed in 2002 or later, visit the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) website. Note that GME training records will be listed as “UW Health Graduate Medical Education (University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics).” For training completed before 2002, contact the specific residency or fellowship training program. UW Department of Family Medicine and Community Health Residencies Verification – Contact the UW Family Medicine Department with requests.

Non-ACGME-Accredited Fellowships Verification – Contact the medical school department most closely associated with the program. See Departments, Institutes and Centers for contact information.

UW Health/University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics (UWHC) Medical Staff Verification – Visit the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) website.
